I want you all to re-watch this video of Lea post People’s Choice Awards. Look at the smile on her face within the first few seconds. That is a look of pure joy, but the part that really affects me is at 0:13. She looks down at her name on the award and rubs her thumb across it. It’s as if she still can’t believe it. This is one of the few times she has been given an award for her work. She finally received the validation that she has never garnered before. This is a Jewish-Italian girl from the Bronx who was told her entire life that she wasn’t pretty enough. She has been overlooked numerous times for other awards. Dream roles have been stripped from her. Now she finally has something that is solely her own, that she earned. Not only that, but it was given to her by the people that matter most in any celebrities career, the fans. Not only that, but she accepted the award with complete grace, and barely acknowledged it has hers alone. She is truly one of a kind in Hollywood, and I hope that award is surrounded by more as her career continues.

I’m so proud of her. She’s going to star in a movie musical. In theatres worldwide. I still can’t believe. I’m so proud and happy for her. You can all see her on the silver screen when it comes out :D
But here’s the bad news. We have to move to Los Angeles so she can shoot it and everything. I’m gonna go with her, we managed to find a cheap apartment and we’ll be living there for a while. Like, a long while. Not sure when/if we’re coming back. We may just head straight for New York. My love will dominate Hollywood and then we’ll go and take New York by storm.
I speak for both of us when I say we’ll miss you guys so so so much and that we love you all.
